Dynamic Drum Solo features a variety of accents, pops, and locks, in part inspired by my studies with Egyptian master instructors including Mona el Said and Randa Kamel. Whether you are dancing Egyptian-style or another form, you'll get many practical tips for keeping your solos fresh and fabulous, and your technique safe and strong.

This program also includes my "riff-framing" technique, which lets you improvise seamlessly and confidently even if you don't know what is coming in the drumming. Many dancers lose their strong body language when confronted with the fear of not knowing what is coming next in the drum solo. This method is how I overcame this, and it will help you too! Riff-framing helps you "buy time" to listen to the drum accents while still presenting a confident "frame" for the audience while you prepare internally.
